Last
summer CCF renewed its historic tradition of providingcamperships
to Carlisle students by awarding two scholarships to Drumlin Farm/Mass
Audubon Summer Camp. Jenn Fantasia participated in the Adventurers
Program for seventh and eighth graders. In her thank you letter
she wrote At the end of the two weeks I had not only a better
understanding of the environment and how it works, but also many
great memories of the times I had with my group mates. Without your
generosity I would not have had half as great a summer. Georgia
Guttadauro, now a Carlisle third grader, attended the Explorers
Program which focused on learning about plants and wildlife in the
woods, ponds, fields and drumlins. If everyone picks leaves
off trees, wrote Georgia, and takes animals to a different
place, there wouldnt be any leaves on trees and they would
die and animals wont be places any more and they might die.
Now I am going to help nature as much as I can and Ill ask
my friends to also.
CCF is proud
to encourage the conservationists of the future!
