Bartlett Farm Hosts
CCF Annual Meeting

On the pleasant mosquito free evening of June 5, 2002 Peter and Diane George welcomed more than 40 members of the Carlisle Conservation Foundation to the 42nd annual meeting. Peter George conducted a tour of the farm which is being returned to active agriculture with 20 of 49 acres in pasture or meadow.
At the meeting with chicks clucking in the background shepherds Bill Fosher and David Nishida described the invasive species management program with sheep grazing on Towle Field and Spencer Brook Reservation. Refreshments and conversation followed in the beautifully restored barn.
