Bridges and Partnerships
A dozen pairs of hands make light work in the construction of this
elegently arched footbridge
Under
the initiative and guidance of the Carlisle Trails Committee
and with funding from CCF, this past November a dozen volunteers
gathered to fabricate and assemble a sturdy footbridge over a
small stream within CCF's Poole Swamp Property, assuring a year
round trail connection between Woodridge Road and Estabrook Woods
via the Poole Swamp, Rockstrom and McCormack trails. Complete
trail maps compiled by the Carlisle Trails Committee are available
at Town Hall.
